Gardening with Native Grasses

January 24 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Native Texas grasses can add texture and interest to any home landscape!

Native grasses don’t need much water and can withstand the Texas heat and summer droughts. They add color in the spring and fall, create height and texture in garden designs, and can help with stormwater control by slowing and cleaning rainwater. Let our grass expert walk you through how to incorporate a variety of beautiful native grasses into your home landscape!

Learn about:

  • Types of grasses native to North Texas
  • Benefits of native grasses
  • Proper seasonal maintenance
  • How to add native grasses to your home landscape

The class will be 45 minutes long and taught by an expert from the Native Plant Society of Texas.

This is a free class. No registration is required.
