November 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeFall is the perfect time to plant a tree!
Join our free class to learn about the best trees for North Texas homes! Register Here!
Trees can be amazingly beautiful and create a focal point for our home landscapes. There is such a wide variety of trees, it can be hard to determine which type to plant. Learn which trees work best for your North Texas home landscape.
Since trees get so large and are long-lived, it is important to plant the right tree in the right spot.
Learn about:
- Native and adapted trees of North Texas
- Planting and care tips
- The right types of trees to plant for different situations and landscapes
The first 25 to register will get a free small native Texas tree! Choose the “Tree and Class” ticket option to reserve a free tree.
Three tree types will be available on a first come (register), first served basis: Buckeye, Eve’s Necklace, Mountain Laurel.
If you do not wish to receive a tree or the tree tickets are sold out, choose the “Class Registration Only” ticket type.
One tree per household. Tarrant County residents only are eligible.
The class will be 45 minutes long and taught by a Tarrant County Master Gardener.
