All players under the age of thirteen shall (1) use a parent or guardian’s mobile device to play the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt; (2) use a generic account created by a parent or guardian that is not associated with the player; (3) not upload any personal information related to the player; and (4) obtain permission to play from a parent or guardian.

Parents and guardians are aware that minors playing the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game may view submissions from other players.

Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (FWMSH) will respect and protect the privacy of all users playing the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game. We maintain security measures to keep collected information private and secure. Access to user information is available only to authorized TRWD and FWMSH employees who are required to respect the privacy wishes of all users. 

All information collected, including contact information, text, images, and video, will only be used for the purpose of operating the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game and will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other entity, without the user’s consent.

We will use contact information only to (1) notify give-away winners and award prizes; (2) ask users about subscribing to our newsletters; and (3) request an individual user’s permission to use specific game submissions to help educate our community about environmental protection and conservation.

If a user requests that we do not use this information as a basis for further contact, we will respect the user’s wishes. Any questions regarding this game or our privacy policy can be directed to conservation@trwd.com.

These terms and participation in the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflicts of law principles, and venue shall lie exclusively in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.

By playing the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game, you agree to the above stated terms and conditions and  you hereby agree to RELEASE, RELINQUISH AND DISCHARGE TRWD and FWMSH and their respective officers, directors, agents, contractors, employees and assigns of and from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, suits, causes of action, obligations, damages, injuries, losses, costs, charges and expenses of whatsoever kind or character (including without limitation, attorneys’ fees, court costs, consultant fees, expert fees and other litigation related expenses)  directly or indirectly arising from your participation in the Earth Week Scavenger Hunt game.

Nothing herein shall be construed to limit or waive TRWD’s sovereign or governmental immunity.
