From huge cisterns to small DIY barrels\, capturing rainwater can be done by anyone. \nAttend this workshop to learn the ins and outs of rainwater harvesting and purchase a discounted barrel to take home! \nLearn about: \n\nHow much water your roof will produce in a year\nWhere to put your rain barrel to capture the most water\nHow to install a barrel\nHow to hook up and use your new water source\nHow to build your own 50 gallon rain barrel with just a few supplies from the hardware store\n\n  \nThis is a free online event\, with an optional purchase. The online workshop will be available on-demand April 2-8. You will get access to the online presentation about rainwater harvesting and the DIY rain barrel building\, but will not get a rain barrel to take home. \n$25 registration: Get access to the online workshop and take home a rain barrel. You will get access to the online presentation about rainwater harvesting and the DIY rain barrel building demonstration\, and a rain barrel will be reserved for pick up on April 9th. There are a limited number of barrels available\, so register now to reserve yours! \n  \nAttending the workshop is a requirement to get the barrel discount! You must have watched the online workshop to receive your barrel. This is an educational opportunity and the discounted barrel is only being offered as part of the educational workshop. \nRain barrel information: These rain barrels are discounted from $50 to $25. Barrels are 50 gallons and made from previously used food safe storage containers. The barrels will vary in color and will probably be blue\, but could also be white or black. You do not get to choose your barrel color. The barrels have been assembled by the Tarrant County Master Gardeners in the same fashion as demonstrated in the online workshop. Approximate dimensions are 35 inches tall by 24 inches diameter. \nPick up information: Barrels will be available for pick up for those who register at Tarrant County Resource Connection\, 1801 Circle Drive\, Fort Worth\, Texas from 8am to 11am on April 9th. Check your email after purchase for more information. \nPick up will be contactless and you will be required to load your barrel into your vehicle. \n  \nAny orders that do not comply with restrictions may be cancelled at TRWD’s discretion.
