DESCRIPTION:Spring starts soon\, and we can’t wait to talk with you about drought-tolerant Texas native plants and pollinators.  \n   \nJoin us at Lake Arlington Native Plant and Pollinator Garden for a spring picnic and family-friendly activities!  \n  \n\n\nClick here to register\n  \n\n\nActivities will include: \n\n\nTours of the Lake Arlington Native Plant and Pollinator Garden site\, which features five large demonstration garden beds with native plants as well as a gathering area for gardening classes\, field trips\, and other community events. \n\n\nA “pick it and pot it” table with two free native Texas landscaping plants for each event attendee\, while supplies last. \n\n\nAn “Ask the Master Gardener” table where members of the Tarrant County Master Gardeners Association will provide planting tips for spring \n\n\nA table where Arlington Bee City USA committee members will be giving advice about supporting the pollinator population. \n\n\nNature-based educational activities for kids. \n\n\nA visit from the Arlington Water Utilities leak detection K-9 – Splash! \n\n  \nFree boxed lunch to the first 100 people who register for the event. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and eat among the first spring blossoms! \n  \nThis event is brought to you by Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District. \n
