DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Monarch Butterfly Migration! \nIt is time for Monarch butterflies to migrate back south to Mexico. That means we will be seeing them pass through Texas soon! Come celebrate with us! \nThis is a FREE family event to learn about Monarch butterfly migration and how to create your own pollinator garden to support Monarchs. \n  \nSaturday\, October 23 \n10 am to 4 pm \nFort Worth Botanic Gardens \n  \nFun for the whole family: \n\nKids activities – including a free gift for completing a full “migration”\nKids learn about butterfly metamorphosis\nTalk to butterfly and plant experts\nSee examples of Milkweeds and other pollinator-friendly plants\nGet free native wildflower seeds\nLearn about Monarch butterflies and gardening for pollinators\n\nThe event will be held under the trees in the “Grove” area of the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. \nPark off of I-30 and Montgomery to enter the gardens for this free event. The entrance to the parking lot is just before you reach Montgomery on the I-30 access road\, behind the antique mall. \nBrought to you by the Fort Worth Monarch Pollinator Ambassadors – the City of Fort Worth\, Tarrant Regional Water District\, Fort Worth Botanic Garden\, Botanical Research Institute of Texas\, Tarrant County Community College\, US Fish and Wildlife\, National Wildlife Federation\, Texas Parks and Wildlife\, the Fort Worth Zoo\, Native Prairies Association of Texas\, and the Native Plant Society of Texas. \nWhile you are at it- \nVisit the Mariposa Market at the same time and place!
