SUMMARY:Lake Arlington Garden Wildflower Meadow Seeding
DESCRIPTION:Arlington Water Utilities and Tarrant Regional Water District have partnered to create a native plant demonstration garden with 2\,000 sq. ft. of flowering native perennials and grasses on city-owned land adjacent to the Lake Arlington Dam. We will be seeding a native wildflower meadow in the surrounding 3 acres in December. \nWe’ll need lots of volunteers to spread native grass and wildflower seed on 2 acres of field. Please join us in creating a wildflower meadow at Lake Arlington spillway! \nRegister here: https://LAGWildflowers.eventbrite.com  \nVolunteers will be helping prepare the land and spread native wildflower and grass seeds. \nThere are 2 time slots available. You can sign up for as many as you like. \n9am to 12pm \n12pm to 3pm \n  \nAll necessary equipment will be provided. \n  \nWatch your email for more information and a release form after you register. \nThe site is owned by Arlington Water Utilities and only accessible with permission via a gated entrance.
