Even a small roof area can produce a usable amount of water during an average rainfall. From huge cisterns to small DIY barrels\, capturing rainwater can be done by anyone. \nAttend this workshop to learn the ins and outs of rainwater harvesting and pick up a free rain barrel to take home! \nLearn about: \n\nHow much water your roof will produce in a year\nWhere to put your rain barrel to capture the most water\nHow to install a barrel\nHow to hook up and use your new water source\nHow to build your own 50 gallon rain barrel with just a few supplies from the hardware store\n\nThis workshop is available for Southlake\, Texas residents only. \n  \nThis workshop has 2 parts: an online class and a rain barrel pick up.  \nThe online class will be available to watch on demand September 23-27. \nRain barrel pick up will be available the following week\, September 30 – October 4. \n  \nThis event is brought to you by Southlake and Tarrant Regional Water District.
